CHRISTMAS 2007
Christmas was very interesting this year. I truly love this time of year. Being without Justin was difficult and I have to admit I was relieved when all the whoop la was over. It was exhausting trying so hard not to dwell on how much he was missed by all. Even though we had a blast. Lincoln was fussy, and so much fun. He is smiling and cooing, just a joy to be around and then to watch all the kids play games and have so much fun together was such a blessing. We were also blessed with our friends coming over on Christmas eve after church. The Adairs came, we ate and laughed and played games. Gena is like my kids second mom and I do believe Jeremy likes her more than me. Levi had to work so I knew it was hard on Ashley. He didn't want to drive over on Christmas Eve. Ash met him on Christmas day at his mom and dads house in Florence Oregon. Amber and Leo were here for a good little while and I had a blast just visiting with them. They went home to play in the snow above their house in Blachly. Jeremy and myself went to the movies. And Justin did laundry in New Mexico. Different but doable. Justin's grandma had a stroke before Christmas she is not doing very well. Please keep her and the family on your prayer list. We are praying that our house sells soon. Jeremy and I are leaving for Farmington next week and he will start school in Durango on the 7th. Justin is having surgery on the 10th and then I will come back to Oregon on the 22nd to wait on the Lord to sell our house. This has been a very interesting year. I wonder what God has in store for us this coming year. I know it will be good. Love to all Cheryl

Wow has it been a while since I have posted something or what! I have been once again putting the miles behind me. I was blessed to be able to go and visit Justin for Thanksgiving. We had a blast. I stayed with his parents for 4 days and had a blast. We took Jeremy to Old Town which is a square with shops in Albuquerque. He went in his first Catholic church and was amazed that they worship the Pope. He was front and center and Jesus was in the corner. I will pray for them daily. It was a great time in the Lord with my son. Justin had meetings so we got to play. We went with Tami and Naomi to the mall. Naomi and I made a bear, really it was a cat, but a ton of fun. Then we went back to Farmington and to church on Sunday. They had a Turkey Bowl football game which was a ton of fun. It was the adults against the youth. Jeremy was an adult this time and this was a first. Needless to say the adults won. Thanks to the younger adults.:) The next weekend we went to Muleshoe Texas for Thanksgiving It was a blast. I hadn't seen my family in over 10 years. It snowed and we went shopping the day after in Clovis. My aunt Tooter and Raymond were so gracious to let us stay with them. The guys were suppose to golf but it is pretty hard to find a white ball in the snow. Then an 8 hour drive back to Farmington and then the next weekend we went back down to Albuquerque for the Cumiford Christmas. There were 32 people there. We had a lot of fun and the food was great. Then guess what? Back to Farmington then on the following Tuesday back to Albuquerque to board a plane to home. I got home and midnight then to bed about 1:30. Got up and drove back up to Portland to pick up Jeremy who is here for a few weeks. Now I have to get my house together to put back up on the market Monday. We are lowering our price to try to sell it. Please be in prayer for us. It is time for our family to be back under the same roof. Justin and I won't be together for Christmas this year. But I leave to go back there on the 2nd then he will have hand surgery on the 10th. I hopefully will come back home on the 22nd of January to close on my house and move. This is my prayer anyway. I love Oregon and my girls but I really enjoy hanging out with my husband. Keep us in your prayers. Love you all.
