Getting Caught Up!!

This has been a very fun and difficult trip and with mother's day upon us it is bittersweet. This will be the first time that I 'm not with my girls. This is Ashley's first mother's day. And this is the first time in a long time that Justin and I are with our mother's. Being down here is great when I'm with my mom and dad or Justin's mom and dad or hanging out with his sister's and their kids. But then I really miss my girls and their families. Yes I mean Lincoln. I have to figure out the web cam so I can see him. Well one of the coolest things ever. Last weekend Justin and Jeremy went to a mens retreat, men of integrity, I decided last minute to go to Albuquerque. We went to Belen to a flea market on the way back we stopped and ate some really good Mexican food and then we went by the church they were married at. The Parshnage was not there. That is where they were married but the church was still there.I guess it is really good to miss your family because it means that there is a lot of love and no matter how far away you are you feel them even closer. Don't take advantage of your loved ones you never know how long you have with them. Cherish every moment. I love you Amber and Ashley I miss you terribly and I am so proud of both of you.

How many usable taco shells are in a box of 18 taco shells? Four! I thought we would have taco's and ended up with nacho's.

The Races.

This is my cousins son's car. Yes his number is hand painted on with a can of paint. One of the good things about living closer to my parents is being able to do things with them. My dad goes to the races every Saturday night and Sunday afternoons when they are on. My mom can't go, watching the cars causes her to have vertigo. So I have been able to go twice. Justin and I use to go when we were dating. I really injoy going to the races.
99 is Kenneth' car and this was his first time racing on a dirt track. He had won 1s place the night before on the black top oval.

Hillary and Ryans Wedding

This is the Priest that married them in the star behind him is a locked box containing the body of Christ used for communion. I did not partake. I believe he is alive and I'm not a cannibal.

There cake was very pretty. They served steak and chicken with veges and roll. They also served champagne which grandpa Wayne thought was ginger ale and drank it all. That was pretty funny.

My dad went out to get his ladder and had an interesting visitor. This is a dove and her baby. They had nested in his ladder. Just beautiful:)

A Teaching Sedar

This is our Pastor and his wife at the Sedar.


Our church had a teaching Sedar during Pass Over. It was really interesting. We drank non alcoholic wine. It was different and we ate lamb and rice, salad with red sea dressing, and an apple dessert. Jeremy went with us it was very interesting. I don't understand how a Jewish person can not believe in Christ. Please be in prayer for them.

A Quick Update!!

I have really been letting Satin get the best of me lately. But today was really interesting! I had a list of things to do: get a hair cut , do laundry, go to the bank, mail my girls mothers day presents, go to walmarts and get groceries, call on the sewer tap and see if it is still tricky or not, will explain another date, Call direct tv, cancel com cast and call on the propane tank. Well before I even got started on this list I was taking my dogs out to go pee and Jack was doing his morning business, a worker came up and told me the managers were just around the corner. So I hurried them not a good idea. Jack had poop on his but ran in my room up on my bed and continued to wipe his butt on my quilt. I grabbed him and gave him a bath and decided I had more laundry than I knew. Then I was loading the car had put the dogs in and then went to the trash container and dumped our trash, back up to the apartment to get the laundry then I would be ready to go. The people next to me were to close to put my laundry basket in the front seat, my trunk is to full for it to fit there. I keep my clothes and all the dog stuff and laundry stuff so I don't carry it back and forth up and down 3 flights of stairs. Well back to my day. So I back out of the space and then put my basket in the front seat. My fat butt got in the way and hit the lock and before even thinking I shut the door. My car is running my dogs are in the car with no windows down, my phone is on the front seat so I cant call Justin and my spare key is in the apartment. So what to do? I leave my running car with my poor dogs in it and hike to the office praying that they will not see the dogs when I borrow a key. Oh and my car was blocking 3 cars. Thank the Lord they gave me the key to open the door I hike back to the apartment and get the spare keys. Down to the car into the running car to take the keys back to the office. So then it is 10:00 and I had left the apartment at 9:00 I have a hair cut appointment at 11:30 and I started my 4 loads of laundry. I decided to call Justin and ask for prayer so that I didn't end up bald. It is very hot today and the dogs in the car are warm so I keep giving them ice water and letting them out of the car. Justin suggests I call the man about the sewer and low and behold good news it is being done today.( I hope) While doing the laundry I finish putting things in the girls package and realize I left the cards in the apartment yes 3 flights up. So finish laundry take it to the apartment so that I can get the cards to put in the packages can't find the cards, guess what they were in the car. Go figure that. Went to the hair appointment thought I was late had to wait about 30 minutes with my poor dogs in a very hot car It is now 12:00 and she hasn't started on my hair. Finished at 1:00, I still have a little hair. Run out to take my dogs to the park to some shade if there is such a thing. Went to Wal marts and off to UPS. Mailed Ashley's and found out they don't deliver to a PO boxes which is what Amber has so will have to go to the post office tomorrow because I give up, me and the dogs are going to Justin's we hang out in the back of his shop. We will see what tomorrow holds to see if the rest gets done. Just an interesting day I thought I would let ya'll know what could happen in just about 5 hours. Love to all!!!
