Amber here are a few verses to enjoy!
While in church yesterday, our pastor took us on some what of a wild goose chase through the bible. Or that is what it felt like to keep up with him. I happened on a couple of verses that I had never remembered reading. Now remember this is the message translation so it might not read this way in another translation but I really enjoyed this one.
In Romans 14:5-12 It says,"Or, say one person thinks that some days should be set aside as holy and another thinks that each day is pretty much like any other. There are good reasons either way. So, each person is free to follow the convictions of conscience. What's important in all this is that if you keep a holy day, keep it for God's sake, if you eat meat, eat it to the glory of God and thank God for prime rib, if you're a vegetarian, eat vegetables to the glory of God and than God for broccoli. None of us are permitted to insist on our own way in these matters. It's God we are answerable to-all the way from life th death and everything in between- not each other. That's why Jesus lived and died and then lived again so that he could be our Master across the entire range of life and death and free us from the petty tyrannies of each other. So where does that leave you when you criticize a brother? And where does that leave you when you condescend to a sister? I'd say it leaves you looking pretty silly, or worse. Eventually we're all going to end up kneeling side by side in the place of judgment facing God. You critical and condescending ways aren't going to improve your position there one bit. Read it for yourself in Scripture:
"As I live and breathe,"
God says, "every knee will bow before me.
Every tongue will tell the honest truth
that I and only I am God. "
So tend to your knitting. You've got your hands full just taking are of your own life before God.
I hope this didn't rattle on. I just really enjoyed these verses. Love you mom

Motherhood.
I was talking to Ash yesterday and she was having a very trying day. Justin and I always pray for our children but this morning I awoke with her on my mind. For a mother it can be an endless routine task. Parenting can be quite a trying job, especially if you have a boisterous bundle of destructive energy. It takes more than your mettle to deal with the minute-to-minute parenting. so here are a few quotes to perk yourself up. I hope you enjoy these.
When a woman is twenty a child deforms her, when she is thirty, he preserves her and when forty he makes her young again.
Some are kissing moms. Some are scolding moms, but it is just the same, most mothers kiss and scold together.
A little boy forgot his lines in a Sunday school presentation. His mother was in the front row to prompt him. She gestured and formed the words silently with her lips but it did not help. Her son's memory was blank. Finally, she leaned forward and whispered a cue, "I am the light of the world."The child beamed and with great feeling and a loud clear voice said,"My mother is the light of the world." While Jesus is the true light of the world, your mother can be the light which will lead your child to Christ. I hope this helped a little at least gave you a laugh I love you Mom.

Our Shed. The first weekend.
Our shed is 16x16 and has been anything but easy. It is so hot here we have to be so careful. Not only that but you can actually get water poisoning from drinking to much water in the heat. I have learned a lot about flavored waters and Gatorade. Our fav so far is: Jeremy-blue Gatorade, Justin- orange juice and tea, and mine is life water. It has been in the upper 90's averaging 97 for the past 4 weeks with no sign of letting up. So needless to say the building project has been difficult. Jeremy has been a God send even though he seems to think I am useless. Justin and I have always worked well together. That may only be my opinion.
My flowers!
When we moved in there were already a few beautiful flowers. They had not been taken care of but I'm working on it. I seem to take on the role of gardener around here. Justin is the fix and build it man. We also have rescued some near dead or possibly dead trees. 2 cherries and a plum so far. So I planted them this weekend also. Here are some pics.

Prayer request!
Ashley, Levi and Lincoln are all sick. Kay, Levi's mom is going over hopefully to help Ashley out. Ash sounded terrible today on the phone. We all know how hard it is to have both kids and husband and yourself sick Thanks Cheryl
Black widows, Snakes and Nail guns OH MY!!!!!!
It has been a very exciting past three days around here. Friday we finally received television. and guess what there was nothing good to watch. The technician was under the house he found black widows and a lot of water. So needless to say another thing to put on our list of to do's. Met Justin at Lowe's with pick up to get supplies, ready the big project this weekend. Building the shed, 16x16. Filled both trucks and headed for A andW for supper. We had had 7 yards of gravel delivered this morning. I moved enough of it so that the foundation was full and I was pooped. Jeremy came home to help, boy was he a big help. He seems to think mom is worthless though. I think I have raised a young male showvanist. I know that is spelled wrong I can't seem to get it close enough so that the computer can fix it. It is so hot it was 96 degrees to day and I am so thankful for the trees God has given us. Up Saturday morning to get started realized we had forgotten several things, so after finishing the gravel back to Lowe's. Bought 3 bombs to put under the house for the black widows. Went home to get started. The guy's did a very good job until Justin shot a nail threw his finger tip with his nail gun. Not a bad injury, even though I thought Jeremy would do this not Justin. Then on one of the many water runs I stepped up onto my porch and almost stepped on a 3 foot long bull snake. I thought it was fake and almost picked it up and took it to Jeremy. Freaked me out, Justin came and killed it. Justin snagged his hand on a nail poking threw a board injury number 2. They put up 2 walls and called it a day. Woke up father's day ready to go, not. Jeremy was in the sun just a little bit to much yesterday, he isn't feeling well this morning and Justin's face is very red. A board fell off the top of the shed and hit Justin's hand injury number 3. We actually stayed home from church today to get a jump on the heat. I learned how to use the tiller and started tilling the front lawn to replant from the sewer installation. Justin's was trying to fix the air conditioner and black widows were crawling out from under the house, the bombs were working. Jeremy saw one up close and personal so that he now knows what to do if bit and to stay away from them. We will have to buy a new pump for the air conditioner, guess what another thing to put on the to do list. The guys quit working and gave up around 3 or 4 to hot. Started playing with the sprinklers to get them watering well. Ditch water is very cold. Refreshing at the same time. Jeremy went back up to Durango around 8 and Justin and I sat out on the front porch for a little while as it started cooling off. All in all we all have 10 digits and all working parts and a shed was raised. God is so good. We had such a good time. There is so much to do around here and I think God is teaching us just to take one thing at a time and not to get in any hurry. All we have is time and we must take advantage of the time we have with each other. It is so fun to watch Justin and Jeremy together, what a great dad Justin is and what a wonderful son Jeremy is. Love to all Cheryl

Oh my gosh where has the time went!!!
I'm not real sure what happened to May but it is gone and June is half over. There are a few pics to follow of a few kids that will never grow up. Most were taken around mothers day. We are in our house and it is livable now. I was beginning to wonder if I was truly listening to God or if I was just wanting a piece of land to call my own. After many hours, days, and weeks of scrubbing I think now I am finally cleaning our own dirt. I still can't irrigate and dry clothes at the same time but thats another story for another time. My oven doesn't work but the burners do. What a blessing that is. That is another story also. We are in the process of building a storage shed so that we can put our tools, garden supplies, lawn mowers etc. in so that I can finish the last bed room. I really enjoy living here for the most part there is just way to much to do. Today I am tackling the storage sheds. I need to find a few things and it is time so pray I come out alive. God has been so good to us and continues to watch and care for our family. Levi is having an issue with his eyes please pray for him and the doctors who are caring for him. We are still praying for guidance on which church to join. Have not received a clear answer as of yet. Besides that pray that the walls on the shed go up easily. We just continue to thank the Lord for continuing to be there for us in all circumstances. Love to all will have more pics soon.
Just a few pictures of things happening in May.
