Black widows, Snakes and Nail guns OH MY!!!!!!
It has been a very exciting past three days around here. Friday we finally received television. and guess what there was nothing good to watch. The technician was under the house he found black widows and a lot of water. So needless to say another thing to put on our list of to do's. Met Justin at Lowe's with pick up to get supplies, ready the big project this weekend. Building the shed, 16x16. Filled both trucks and headed for A andW for supper. We had had 7 yards of gravel delivered this morning. I moved enough of it so that the foundation was full and I was pooped. Jeremy came home to help, boy was he a big help. He seems to think mom is worthless though. I think I have raised a young male showvanist. I know that is spelled wrong I can't seem to get it close enough so that the computer can fix it. It is so hot it was 96 degrees to day and I am so thankful for the trees God has given us. Up Saturday morning to get started realized we had forgotten several things, so after finishing the gravel back to Lowe's. Bought 3 bombs to put under the house for the black widows. Went home to get started. The guy's did a very good job until Justin shot a nail threw his finger tip with his nail gun. Not a bad injury, even though I thought Jeremy would do this not Justin. Then on one of the many water runs I stepped up onto my porch and almost stepped on a 3 foot long bull snake. I thought it was fake and almost picked it up and took it to Jeremy. Freaked me out, Justin came and killed it. Justin snagged his hand on a nail poking threw a board injury number 2. They put up 2 walls and called it a day. Woke up father's day ready to go, not. Jeremy was in the sun just a little bit to much yesterday, he isn't feeling well this morning and Justin's face is very red. A board fell off the top of the shed and hit Justin's hand injury number 3. We actually stayed home from church today to get a jump on the heat. I learned how to use the tiller and started tilling the front lawn to replant from the sewer installation. Justin's was trying to fix the air conditioner and black widows were crawling out from under the house, the bombs were working. Jeremy saw one up close and personal so that he now knows what to do if bit and to stay away from them. We will have to buy a new pump for the air conditioner, guess what another thing to put on the to do list. The guys quit working and gave up around 3 or 4 to hot. Started playing with the sprinklers to get them watering well. Ditch water is very cold. Refreshing at the same time. Jeremy went back up to Durango around 8 and Justin and I sat out on the front porch for a little while as it started cooling off. All in all we all have 10 digits and all working parts and a shed was raised. God is so good. We had such a good time. There is so much to do around here and I think God is teaching us just to take one thing at a time and not to get in any hurry. All we have is time and we must take advantage of the time we have with each other. It is so fun to watch Justin and Jeremy together, what a great dad Justin is and what a wonderful son Jeremy is. Love to all Cheryl

Tell dad to wear steel mesh gloves next time! He needs to wear a steel mesh suit for that matter. I missed him on father's day. Take it easy and if you come across an extra $200 bucks fly me down there!!! Love you
