Ice Climbing!! Go Jeremy!!
We had an amazing time this past weekend. Jeremy went ice climbing in Ouray Colorado. A three hour drive straight up the rocky mountains from us. You see, he had went with a guy from our church, his Sunday school teacher Bryan. Bryan was staying until Monday and Jeremy's roommate was to bring him home. Praise God Jeremy was stranded. His friend would not bring him home and I am very thankful for that. We went up early Sunday morning and had a blast. Jeremy had never ice climbed before and he was amazing. Bryan was explaining to me that the ice is classified by numbers. 1 being the easiest and 5 very difficult. 6 is for extreme climbs. The pictures to follow is a 6. He climbed out of a gorge that to me was about 50 yards to the top straight up on ice, but to make it more difficult he climbed an icicle that was maybe 20 feet long and probably 25 yards off the gorge floor. It was amazing and he did it so quickly. The icicle had a crack all the way threw about 1/3 of the way up it. It also moved while he was climbing it. He is so tallented. Bryan was a great teacher. They climb with picks in thier hands and crimp ons on thier feet thats it. They are attached to a rope that is wrapped around the tree at the top and is dropped down the wall of ice and is attached to their climbing buddy who is watching carefully. It was truely amazing.

Love to all will put more pics on soon. It took forever to post these.
