Is there any hope?
Can we really have peace and joy in our hearts?
Can we find the purpose for our lives?
Can we find the strength for tough times?
Does anyone really care?
YES! HERE'S HOPE- JESUS CARES FOR YOU!!
The bible says: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 1:16
In His Word, the Bible, we can find the road to hope. The road is clearly sown in the pages of the Bible. The journey begins with Romans 1:16, as we just read.
Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," we have all done many things that we should not have and these things separate us from God.
Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Sin causes separation between us and God. We can't do a thing to fix that. We can't be good enough or even do many good deeds for others. Only Jesus could cover our sins and make us perfect before God.
John 3:16-17 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him." God only had one Son born of a virgin, Mary. He, meaning God, did this for us. You see, Jesus had to die so that we may live. Threw His death we may have life everlasting. Here on earth now and in Heaven with Him when we die. There has to be a blood sacrifice for sin, and Jesus is ours. He did not come to judge us but to die for us!!
John 3:36 says,"He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on Him." God can not be around or look upon sin, the bad things that we do. So if we believe Jesus is Gods Son and that He came to earth as a man to die for us, and was raised from the dead, then we will have life and life abundantly with Him. Here on earth now and in Heaven when we die. If we choose not to believe then we receive the wrath of God here on earth and in Hell when we die. Total separated from the love of God.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, that no one should boast." This is a gift, it cannot be earned. You can choose to receive this gift or not receive it, but it is a gift of love and sacrifice freely given for us. We can not earn it.
Romans 10:9-10 says, "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." If we say Jesus is the boss of our life and really believe it, and know that He died on the cross for all mine and your sins, past present and future, and after being buried in a grave for 3 days God brought Him back to life, you shall be saved. Saved from separation from God. Its with our heart that we believe and our mouth that we confess, then we may live forever with God, here on earth and in heaven when we die.
John 1:12 says, "But as many as received Him to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name," if we believe in Jesus and all that He has done for us we become a child of God. We are one of His forever. Nothing or no one can take that away.
II Corinthians 6:2 says, "for He says, "At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you." God is listening and if you have accepted and believe all the previous scripture you are saved.
Pray this prayer of salvation with me. Dear God I know I have sinned please forgive me for my sins. I know that you sent Jesus to die on the cross for all my sins and that you raised Him from the dead. Thank you for forgiving me and thank you for your love so amazing in Your name. Amen If you truly believe this and truly prayed this prayer that is all there is to salvation. You are saved and have life, an abundant life here on earth and in Heaven when you die.
Acts 8: 35- 39 says, "And Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this scripture he preached Jesus to him. And as they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said, "Look! Water!" What prevents me from being baptized?" And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may. And he answered and said,"I blieve that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." and He ordered the Chariot to stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch; and he baptized him. And when they came up out of the water the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch saw him no more, but went on his way rejoicing."
Acts 2:37, 38, and 47 says, "And Peter said to them,"Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of you sins," "Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved." It is important to be baptized after you have excepted Christ. It is a public confession of what Christ has done for you. Being alive, buried in death (going under the water) being raised from the dead (coming up out of the water). You have died to your old self (going under the water) and are reborn to walk in a new life threw Jesus Christ(coming up from the water).
Please this Easter except this gift of God. Don't put it off. I love each and every one of you and I want to live for all eternity in Heaven with you.
